I think a very important thing for people who say they feel helpless right now to do is to take the time to do their research on Palestine and its history and how we even got to this point. I will always recommend reading decolonizepalestine.com it has so much information and debunks so many of the myths people believe surrounding Palestine and Israel. Being able to get informed and help spread Palestinian’s voices and history is an easy and free way to keep the conversation going and get people to take this genocide seriously.

Matthew Perry gave the world one of the best comedic performances and comfort characters in television, he was not a character but I hope he knows he made an impact on a lot of people,
Matthew Perry, you left this world but you’ll forever live in our hearts. Your memory shall live forever. thank you for giving us Chandler Bing. Rest easy 🕊️
Hi. You don’t know me, but if you’re anything like me, your eyes and ears are flooded with news about the atrocities being committed by Israel in Gaza right now. You’re feeling overwhelmed, scared, and hopeless, but you also feel like it’s a moral imperative to keep looking.
I want you to take three deep breaths.
It is not your responsibility to feel the world’s pain. You are not required to subject yourself to sorrow in order to be a good person.
Have you contacted a representative, comforted a friend, donated to a fund, or even just reposted something to spread awareness? Then you’re doing enough. Do you not have the energy to do those things? Then that’s okay too, and taking care of yourself and your mental health is also doing enough.
Put the phone down for a bit or browse some of your favorite tags. Get a drink of water, put on some calming music, take a short walk. Reach out to your friends, draw or write something, make a sandwich. You are allowed to put current events aside and do things you find enjoyable. You’ve already acknowledged the bad things; you’re not ignoring them.
There are millions upon millions of people trying to help. You can take a break. I promise, it’s okay.
