Don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully wrap my head around the pure intense hatred for furries that used to exist back in the 2000s. Just about every furry I’ve interacted with in my years of going to anime conventions have been some of the most chill people, they know how to party, and fursuit makers being so willing to share how they made their suits is a big reason why I got into cosplay.
…. well, actually, I know what one of the big driving forces behind the vitriol towards the furry fandom was: Homophobia.
Reblogging myself because… what was that? Five minutes?
O_O
………my friend has made me curious
help me roger
Update: after I reblogged this someone messaged me offering me tickets to the sold out Hausu screening with a Q&A and autograph session with the director
These never work for me, but here’s to trying.
I don’t believe in these things
But last time I reblogged one ten/fifteen minutes later I got a call offering me a job
But I reblogged it because I was waiting on hearing back from the job. So there you go.
Roger is cute.
Eh Roger is cute I might as well
That fish is so happy it makes me happy.
I have no luck right now. Halp.
Why does this have so many notes
because its not one of your posts.
Roger is precious to me.
Help me Roger
I mean…. my page is dead anyways. No one comments or asks questions via the ask thing so I guess I could.
The funny thing about Dr. Robotnik being called Dr. Robotnik in the English localisation is that “Robotnik” is a real surname, but the localisers apparently had no idea – they just took the English word “robot” and stuck a vaguely Russian-sounding suffix on it because it was the Cold War and “vaguely Russian” was shorthand for “evil” in American popular culture. Dudes tried to lazily come up with a name that evokes “evil robot guy” and accidentally made him Polish.
